Missions
About missions
Our heart and passion at CCW for missions is foundational in our mission statement, ‘To know Christ and make him known’. We are committed to supporting and promoting mission locally and internationally. The way we value this is by dedicating 10% of our annual offerings towards missions.
These funds are administered by a missionary committee and directed towards 2 main objectives;
Supporting financially, pastorally and in prayer, people/families who have made a life choice to be missionaries in Australia or aboard/overseas.
Providing opportunities for Short Term Mission for both our youth and adults.
If you would like to give to our missionaries, you can give online or in person.
Local partnerships
Throughout the year we support local community groups with meals, groceries and cash donations which are collected through fundraising and tithes. We currently partner with Warragul Regional Primary School & Kids Hope Australia to support kids and families in the local area.
Short term missions
We partner with mission organisations such as YWAM and provide opportunities for small groups of people to travel for 2 weeks to these organisations to provide practical support and to be an encouragement to the mission. It is also a great opportunity for people to be exposed to mission life and a different cultural context.
Global missions
We support 6 full time missionaries who are helping local communities in healthcare, education, ministry & community development across Thailand, Philipines, Hong Kong, Africa and Indonesia.
Global partnerships
Throughout the year we partner with organisations such as Compassion and Samaritan's Purse to support their mission internationally.
